18 month old, Joshua assists open the largest display of tents anywhere in Australia

September 16, 2004 -- Any one who visited the Granger's Camping World website in March 2003 would have seen photo's of baby Joshua, the newest member to the Granger family. Well Joshua, is now 18 months old and like all Grangers before him, he is ready to get stuck into the family business. At the moment Joshua is extremely busy preparing for the grand opening of the new Dandenong store.

The new 2,100 square-metre store, which is located at 40 Frankston Dandenong Road, Dandenong opens on the 18th of September, 2004 and will provide a complete range of camping equipment including between 60 to 70 tents on display, making it Australia's largest display of tents.

The Dandenong store is Granger's Camping World's third store, with existing stores in Coburg and Nunawading. The company also offers an extensive range of products on its website, which can be shipped globally.

"The new store will allow customers to experience a complete range of tents before choosing the right one. We believe it is important for a customer to be able to get a true feel for a tent and you can only do that by seeing it on display. Looking at a picture in a catalogue or on a box is just not the same," says Claude Granger, Joshua's Grand Father, Managing Director and founder of Granger's Camping World.

Claude went on to say "Having been established since 1965 and being family owned and operated, with 5 members of my family involved in the business full time (Joshua is only part time at the moment) our team has both the experience and the knowledge to provide our customers with the right product at the right price. We are also committed to providing personalised customer service and advice."

Joshua, of course, will be at the stores grand opening on Saturday 18th September to assist his family.
